Ray almost laughed but he poked his tongue into his cheek instead and shook his head. He wasn't even surprised by Asher's behavior anymore. Maybe the next few minutes would wipe the metaphorical smile off his face.

Asher's raised wrist was swiftly surrounded by metal as Ray made a quick U-turn, pulling Asher's arm behind his back and reaching for the other one to cuff.

"Goooood afternoon, you're under arrest." He sounded absurdly chirpy. "Assault, causing actual bodily harm, before you ask." He wasn't about to tell Asher he couldn't press charges without a willing victim though; maybe with the ex-vamp in hold up, the good doctor would come to his senses and point the finger.
